shut out werewolves and other adverse environmental agents
always bring a door to enter those sanctuaries formerly denied
& to escape enclosures not of your choosing
bring a self to transcend, to be
I bring roads to follow & get lost; let’s go get lost in
the gold
& bring a sun to eclipse & shine
always bring a radio signal to play into the inevitable
one will need to bring a chicken coop & garden, a scramble
of agrarian pasts
bring logic along to inspect objects & evade wrecks
bring your psyche which surrounds what is & joins that which
is not
bring some mystic along to wander repeating circuits known
& unknown to knot the specific
bring a key to unlock; bring signifiers & rings to rift
all things
bring words
always bring a door with you & another & another to
open out into the vaults beyond
