My poem, "White Rabbit"

White Rabbit

Look now how the green trembles

sand twig leaf and bits of fur join

take appearance in the shade

out of the shapeless sunlight

There he winks alive and rambles

in full to begin another journey

unnoticed into worlds unseen

under trellis through an old gate

on a sprung hinge a child left open

There is nothing commonplace

beneath the surface of things

shadowy design tumbles nearby

hidden by lawn, hedge, and tree

Totems and spirits send summons

glimpses of motion beckon

calls and whistles lead on ahead

mild things inform reshaped truths

down the rabbit hole
