today's poem - "Bird Brain #8"

Bird Brain #8

A man with a circle brain

spins his tires

as thirty birds roost

in the palladium

of his cranium

Clear the tower

Ring the bell

Let winged creatures

from the carillon

fly the pavilion

Lost in feelings

of images reversing

defluxions flux

the empty vale

flapping & revolving

out of his belfry

the bell in his crown

signals the town

a babbling story

slipping in the forked air
