today's poem - "Inundate"

Inundate

Buddy Holly specs bathed in a golden light

shines on naturalism with disdain

like two worn hats at once with reaction time

enough to stun an ox with prime numbers

counted backwards that no one unknown

resembles unknowing but knowing not

loads into spaces things not unknown

success sustains attainable longevity

longitude and fortitude with an attitude

so close so far so long as rain is falling

mentally outmuscling an unheard overture
